David Gunderson, AIA
David Gunderson possesses over 15 years of professional experience in all areas of design and construction management. As a licensed AIA Architect, he brings high-level design and management experience in commercial, data/call center, multi-family, hospitality and industrial projects. With his experience in real estate development, he offers financial analysis of real estate options and operations beyond the traditional rent comparisons. In fact, his analysis for the Network Associates Regional Headquarters, subsequently audited and confirmed by Price Waterhouse Coopers, resulted in a build-to-own facility with annual cost savings of over $1.2 Million over their previous lease commitment.
David has years of experience as an Owner's Representative/Project Manager, handling significant projects nationwide. As a Project Manager, David was personally responsible for many of the significant law firm and corporate projects in Texas. He managed all five offices for Strasburger and four offices for Locke, Liddell & Sapp (now Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell).
David has an impressive record of delivering mission-critical real estate solutions for his clients. Those include DG Systems, which delivers the bulk of electronic radio and TV advertising in the United States; Michaels Stores, which processes over $1 Million per hour in retail transactions; Network Associates, which delivers virus solutions to over 270 Million customers worldwide; and multiple projects for the Department of Homeland Security.
